A story of excellence, service, and evolution in Pasto
Founded on November 6, 1992, Hotel Don Saul opened its doors with 43 fully equipped rooms, including 3 suites, a bar, a restaurant, now known as Restaurante Yazmín, and the Monte de los Olivos halls: Jordán, Éufrates, Tigris, and Litany. Its inauguration was celebrated with a cocktail gathering local authorities, businesspeople, and friends from the city. From that first day, 38 team members provided service recognized for its warmth and attention to detail.
Career Path and Growth
- 1993: The hotel joins Cotelco Capítulo Nariño, the most important hotel association in Colombia. This alliance strengthened ties with the corporate and tourism sectors, expanding the network of strategic relationships.
- 1994: A new organizational structure is consolidated, dividing management into two key areas: administrative and operational. This allowed for process optimization and strengthened service quality, establishing the hotel as a hospitality benchmark in Pasto.
1997 – 1998: The service portfolio is expanded with the creation of a wet area that includes a Turkish bath, sauna, and gym, accessible to both guests and external clients. Additionally, the communications system is modernized with the implementation of closed-circuit television.
2014: A new strategic management model aligned with international standards is established, implementing a quality manual based on ISO 9001:2008. This tool guides the team in continuous improvement and the achievement of institutional objectives.
