Pet Accommodation Policies and Regulations
We know that your pet is a member of your family, and we understand that your trip wouldn’t be the same without your best friend. That is why we allow you to bring them, strictly adhering to the following rules:
The ownership of wild or exotic animals is prohibited in Colombia. In our establishment, we comply with this regulation to preserve wildlife and the safety of our guests; therefore, only domestic animals are allowed.
Accommodating a pet requires a deeper cleaning and maintenance of the rooms than usual on a daily basis, which is why we must charge for accommodating your little friend.
Pets weighing up to 10 kg are allowed for an additional fee.
We reserve the right to deny entry to pets that show signs of unsanitary conditions or potentially contagious diseases, display aggressive behavior, or fail to comply with the policies and rules of the Hotel.

TIPS
Tips for Traveling with Your Pet at Hotel Don Saul
Traveling with a well-behaved pet can be a wonderful experience. However, even if you completely trust your furry companion, it’s essential to keep in mind that changing environments can trigger unpredictable reactions in them.
Here are some useful suggestions:
Preparations:
Bring a familiar blanket, towel, or bed for your pet to sleep on in the room. The familiar smell will provide comfort in the new environment.
Make sure to bring enough food, water, and the appropriate containers, as it can be difficult to find the food they like during the trip.
Don’t forget to pack waste bags and your pet’s essential documentation, including a tag with your phone number in case of emergency.
Bring a collar and leash, and if your pet tends to get on the furniture, bring a sheet to protect them from hair and dirt.
Arrival at the Hotel:
Before entering the hotel, it’s advisable to walk your pet to let them relieve themselves. New places can trigger “accidents.”
Avoid letting your dog mark their territory at the hotel’s entrance or in the room, as this will not contribute to a pleasant stay.
Ensure your pet is clean upon entering the hotel. Avoid using the hotel’s towels or bathtub to clean your pet; instead, it’s recommended to have their own towel or to purchase pet wipes.
In the event of encountering other guests who may have phobias, fears, or allergies, we kindly ask for your cooperation to ensure your pet does not cause discomfort.
The comfort of all our guests is of utmost importance to us.
